3 Things To Consider When Looking For Backlink Software

In order to have any kind of traffic from the search engines most especially Google having backlinks is a must. These backlinks when done right will raise your standings in the search results pages. A side benefit may also be getting traffic from the other websites that are pointing to your page.

To help automate the process and make it easier for the website owner some great software has been created in the past couple of years. However Google doesn’t like automation if it can detect it and not every program will give you results that you want. Here are three things to look for when searching for backlink software.

IP diversity

When looking at links Google tends to discount multiple links from one source. There is still some link love coming through but you can’t rely on large boosts from a single source. Links need to come from a variety of locations preferably around the globe. The better quality of a site the better the link and the better the ranking too.

One way

Reciprical linking where I link to you and you link to me at one time worked wonders but those days are gone. Reciprical links get very little credit if at all. You want links pointing only at you from a particular site. No links back to the same site and be especially careful of pointing links back to a site that may be on the same IP address. It has not been proven that Google completely discounts same IP addresses but there is some evidence out there that may support it.

Slow growth

Google will slap penalties on your site for unusual linking activity. No batches of hundreds of links within a day or two. Google likes to see slow and natural growth. Make sure your are adding no more than a dozen or less links per day perhaps even no links some days.

Not only is this good advice for software created links but even if you build them by hand. As long as your backlink software program meets these guidelines you should see a fair amount of success in the search engines.
